Libraries are traditionally places where librarians collect information. Most of us don't add books to the shelves. Most of us don't write in the margins of books. In most libraries, when you add a new book about "ethics" all of the existing books don't revise themselves so that every time "ethics" is mentioned in them, they point toward the new book.

All that has changed in this space. The primary differences between this library and a collection of web-pages are that here you are asked to participate (commenting on existing pages, creating new pages, creating new categories to link existing pages, etc.) and the library will become richer and more inter-contextual for everything that you add to it.
